West Auckland's Crystal Mountain

LAST winter, I went for trip to Crystal Mountain, an amazing mineral museum and theme park in Swanson, in the far western suburbs of Auckland. I took some photos and I also include a video.

There are all sorts of amazingly huge crystals. I really liked the hollow ones!

Here's the video I made. It's really atmospheric in there. The colours are a bit muted in the first sections but stand out in the last bit!

They also sell crystals, it goes without saying!
